Do I like this guy? And does he like me or not?

There's this guy in the year below me and he's in the popular group. I never really noticed him until a few weeks ago he took me on my own into the school hall and played me 'Belle's Lullaby'. Now I can't stop thinking about him. I don't know if he likes me or not, but since then we haven't spoken because its been majorly awkward. And I'm the most awkward, not good at talking to guys person alive. What do I do? And does he like me or is he just trying to get in my pants?
